Up for sale is a vintage Case "Hammerhead" lockback folding knife. The tang stamp is Case XX SS USA 10 Dot 1980 "lightning S". These stag Hammerheads were made in very limited quantities in the early 1980's - limited short runs made each year. The knife is 5" closed. The blade steel is stainless. The blade has smooth action, great lockup, no side-to-side wobble. The genuine stag handles have no cracks or damage. Knife is in excellent condition -- never sharpened or used. Original factory blade finish and edge. This is the old-style Hammerhead with the cut out on the lower tang, making it easier to choke up on the blade. Includes the original "basketweave" leather belt sheath. The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive.
